HVAC Installation Services

Before each and every installation, we gather data on the home and its current comfort system and use that as a baseline for how the new system will be installed. We will calculate the precise system and settings for it that will yield the best advantages for longevity, operating cost, and most importantly: comfort!

At Precision Comfort we DO NOT use in home sales consultants. As a company we are high trained and skilled professionals and take your new system very seriously from design, through completion. All agreements with regards to new equipment will be done with an experienced technician.

That means no facet of the installation falls through and the system will truly be tailored to fit your needs. Additionally, we (truly) don’t believe in using high-pressure sales tactics to get you to purchase the “latest and greatest”, especially if it doesn’t suit your situation. We ask you questions based on YOUR comfort level and YOUR needs, then we suggest a solution to fulfill those needs. In essence, you tell US what you want in your home.

We may be professionals in the field of heating and air conditioning, but you know YOUR home better than anyone ever will!

The most important aspect that determines the lifespan of an HVAC system is how well it is installed!

All too often, heating and air conditioning systems are installed haphazardly and without purpose. This approach may work with older, more robust, and less efficient systems. However, conventional systems are becoming less and less common as time progresses.

The quality of installation is not just based on looks (though, that is an important factor), its based on a lot of different, hidden aspects. Take the boiler to the left, for instance.

Between the specialized exhaust line meant to handle the increased exhaust temps of a boiler (as opposed to a furnace). Additionally, the system has built-in air capturing hardware built into it to prevent air from getting trapped in the line. This system has a filter in the return water line to prevent the boiler from becoming contaminated. The system also has antifreeze in it because some of the piping goes through an unconditioned space.

Not only are the features of this installation beneficial to the longevity of the boiler, but they also serve as a layer of safety for the homeowners!

Precision Comfort Solutions has the knowledge and experience to install your next boiler system in a way that makes it efficient, dependable, and cost effective.

Using the correct materials is just the tip of the iceberg for a quality installation. Using good, solid methods that go above and beyond what others consider necessary, is considered MINIMAL to us.

Methods such as:

  • Purging a copper refrigerant line with an inert gas, such as nitrogen, to prevent the buildup of oxidation particles, which can damage sensitive components or contaminate the system itself.
  • Evacuating an air conditioning or heat pump system down to a very low level (<100 microns). Ensuring that the only matter in those lines, is refrigerant.
  • Flushing all boiler systems and cleaning them before introducing a new boiler.
  • We elevate all of our outdoor systems well above the normal snow level. This is generally required for heat pumps only. But for AC systems, it can prevent the bottom from accumulating dirt and debris which can cause it to erode away, leading to premature replacement.

All installations, whether they are central air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, boilers or furnaces, have to be tuned and adjusted for their particular application after the installation is “complete”.

This is why, at Precision Comfort, once the power is on, the job isn’t done yet.

We run through the entire system and tune it for YOUR particular application.

Every home is different, so even though all heating and cooling equipment is made in the same way in a factory, how the system performs will be different from the next home we service.

After which, we gather data on the new system while it operates. We do this to get a baseline on how the system operates, brand-new, in ideal conditions. This data helps us on future visits when we’re conducting maintenance, so we can keep track of trends in the system.

Just because we finished the installation, doesn’t mean we’re done there. We offer services after the installation is complete to keep your new heating and cooling system in the best shape possible.

While it is true that we don’t offer traditional service contracts, or maintenance agreements (more on that here), we do offer a maintenance agreement for new installations. This is to help our customers maintain their new heating and cooling system well beyond the installation date.

While we gather data on the system after it is installed, we continue to gather and monitor that data each year and address trends BEFORE they become problems.

We believe that THIS is what it means to be a full-service HVAC company: Taking care of our customers from conception, through completion, all the way into the service of their home comfort systems.
