  • Our services come with a 1-year parts and labor warranty, at a minimum. Parts that carry a warranty of 1-year or longer also come with a matching labor warranty provided by us.
  • There is no expressed or implied warranty regarding our maintenance services. However, additional charges for return visits after maintenance on that same piece of equipment will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
  • The Precision Comfort Care plan will cover all labor for the duration of the manufacturer’s warranty on all branded and covered components for the amount of time specified in the manufacturer’s warranty certificate.
  • We do not guarantee that the site will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

  • At all times while on site, a person over 18 years of age must be present (“contact person”). If such a person leaves the premises during a service call, we will also vacate the premises and return when the designated contact person returns to the property. Additional, fees may be incurred while waiting/returning to the property.
  • Maintenance will be conducted in accordance with our standard operating procedures with guidance from the applicable manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Precision Comfort will not be held responsible for additional resources consumed by the contractor during the maintenance or repair process (water, fuel oil, electricity, etc.).

  • You acknowledge and agree that certain air conditioning and heat pump maintenance procedures may require the use of water, including but not limited to cleaning coils, flushing drain lines, and testing system performance. The use of water is considered a standard and reasonable part of professional HVAC maintenance and repair services.
  • We are not responsible for any associated costs, charges, or consumption of water during the performance of such services. Any water required for maintenance will be supplied by the property owner or responsible party, and by authorizing service, you accept this as a normal expectation of HVAC system care.

  • Initial signup for the Precision Comfort Care Plan (“the plan”) is restricted to heating and cooling equipment, water heaters, tankless water heaters, and generators installed by Precision Comfort Solutions.
  • The period by which the homeowner is responsible for the initial signup for the plan is two (2) years after the installation date. After which, the homeowner is no longer qualified for the plan.
  • Maximum amount of time for the plan to lapse after the previous coverage period has expired is six (6) calendar months. After which, the homeowner is no longer qualified to purchase the plan, nor will they be covered under it.
  • Upon initial signup, or renewal of the plan, and once payment clears, the plan will run for twelve (12) calendar months and conclude at the end of the final month. Renewing the plan is the sole responsibility of the homeowner. We will make attempts to inform the customer that the plan’s cycle is about to end, but we make no guarantees of such.
  • Any manner of work done to the system by the homeowner or another contractor is considered a breach of contract and will result in the termination of the contract.
  • Regular annual maintenance is covered by the terms of the plan with the exception of tasks performed as a result of the equipment malfunctioning as a result of misuse, negligence, or abuse (ie. excessive soot or fouling of an oil nozzle as a result of running out of fuel oil).
  • The plan covers the equipment inscribed in the agreement for the named equipment only for the amount of time described in the manufacturer’s warranty certificate. All peripherals (pumps, circulators, thermostats, filter driers, etc.) will be covered by the peripherals respective warranty period for the amount of time inscribed therein.
  • Any additional peripherals that will be added to the named equipment after the initial installation will NOT be covered by the plan and will be charged with a standard 15% off discount. This includes replacement of other already installed items with another version of the same accessory, unless a manufacturer’s warranty applies.

  • We will only perform work on another piece of equipment that was installed by another contractor after one (1) year from the initial installation date. No exceptions.
  • If warranty parts are needed, you will be responsible for the whole repair cost, unless otherwise informed. Once the warranty claim is cleared by the manufacturer, we will reimburse you for the covered part(s) only. Labor, accessories, and materials are not covered.
  • As with our standard repair policy, all quoted repairs, once approved demand a 50% deposit before continuing work.
  • If a repair is cancelled after the deposit is paid, but before parts are ordered, you are entitled to a 100% refund on your deposit. We will not refund payments for services rendered, such as diagnostics.
  • If a repair is cancelled after the deposit is paid and the parts have been ordered/acquired, 20% of the deposit (up to $100) will be retained by us as a processing fee for returning the parts and the remaining 80% will be refunded back to you. We will not issue refunds on payments for services rendered, such as diagnostics.

  • At all times while on site, a person over 18 years of age must be present (“contact person”). If such a person leaves the premises during a service call, we will also vacate the premises and return when the designated contact person returns to the property. Additional, fees may be incurred while waiting/returning to the property.
  • All repairs, warranty or otherwise, will be quoted in advance. An electronic signature is required for approval of all quoted work. If a signature cannot, reasonably be obtained, we may by your request, sign off on the work on your behalf.
  • All signed, quoted repairs must be accompanied by a 50% deposit for parts to be ordered, and the requested work to proceed.
  • All repairs come with a 1-year warranty on the primary components described in the original quote. All other components necessary to complete the repair will not be covered under this warranty.
  • Final payment for the repair is due upon completion unless prior concessions are made to pay over a predetermined time period.
  • Repairs done on site, at the time of service during a regular visit, will be quoted as such. You, however, will still have the right to rescind the repair at that time. However, upon returning to your property, we reserve the right to charge an additional trip fee.

  • At all times while on site, a person over 18 years of age must be present (“contact person”). If such a person leaves the premises during a service call, we will also vacate the premises and return when the designated contact person returns to the property. Additional, fees may be incurred while waiting/returning to the property.
  • All equipment installations will be quoted in advance. An electronic signature is required for approval of all quoted installations. If a signature cannot, reasonable be obtained, we will either come to the home to acquire said signature, or a party with power of attorney, on your behalf, may provide a signature. We will NOT sign off on installation quotes.
  • All signed, quoted installations must be accompanied by a 25% deposit for equipment, parts, and materials to be ordered, and the requested work to proceed. One exception is with financing; if the installation is financed 100%, we will waive the deposit, at our discretion.
  • All installations come with a standard 1-year warranty on the primary, named components described in the original quote. Thus includes all accessories and peripherals necessary to complete the installation. After which, the terms of the Precision Comfort Care Plan are in effect.
  • Final payment for the installation is due upon completion unless prior concessions are made to pay over a predetermined time period. When financing an installation, final approval must be made to the finance company in question before we vacate the premises. Final approval for payment is contingent to the satisfaction of the homeowner, and the requirements set forth by the manufacturer for a complete installation.

  • For erroneously diagnosed and installed parts during repairs, we will reimburse you the difference between the cost of the incorrect part, and the cost of the new part (if applicable).
  • Parts cannot be removed nor refunded if they are in place to maintain the integrity of a pressurized system.
  • Once a part is installed that cannot otherwise be simply removed from a system without substantial labor being required to remove said part, it cannot be returned, nor will a refund be issued.
  • Under no circumstances can an electrical or electronic part be returned or refunded after it has been removed from its protective wrapping and/or installed.
  • If a refund is requested for a service that was previously conducted, we reserve the right to address the complaint directly before deciding if a refund for complete services is warranted.
  • Returns and refunds made on a deposit for a repair before parts are ordered will be returned 100%
  • Returns and refunds made on a deposit for a repair after parts are ordered/received, will incur a 20% restocking fee (up to $100).
  • Under no circumstances will trip fees or service call fees be refunded.
